Injury boost for the Tigers
Nigel Adkins could be boosted by the return of four players for Hull City’s visit of Swansea City on Saturday.
The head coach revealed Jordy de Wijs, Reece Burke, Evandro and Jon Toral have all trained ahead this weekend’s clash and could come into contention for a spot in the squad.
Reece Burke has been missing since City’s 3-2 win over QPR with a calf problem, while de Wijs picked up a thigh injury the following week at Millwall meaning both players missed last week’s game against Brentford.
Nevertheless, both are expected to be available this weekend, though, to augment the Tigers’ threadbare backline..
However, while confirming Evandro and Toral have trained ahead of a run of four games in eleven days over the Christmas period, the head coach stressed the pair will not be rushed back before they are ready.
