Steven Gerrard may have only been in charge of Rangers for a matter of days.
However one thing is for certain the Light Blues boss is total box office as he continues to hog the limelight and the headlines.
There is never a dull moment in Scottish football as fans up and down the country have their say on the Ibrox arrival.
First up was Iain Semple, Ayr , who said: “I see Steven Gerrard is already targeting getting Rangers into the Europa League group stages.
“That’s the kind of fighting talk that I like from a Rangers manager.
“You have to set every new team a set of aims right away and then adjust your goalposts as the season develops.
“Pedro Caixinha failed at the first hurdle and the writing was on the wall when Rangers lost to Progres last season.”
James Law, Hamilton , said: “I am just so excited that Gerrard is finally at Ibrox. Let the revolution commence.
“Gerrard has three main goals this season. To steer Rangers into the group stages of the Europa League.
“Win a domestic trophy and mount a decent challenge to Celtic.
“The Bears supporters would be happy with that. We just to see that our club is finally moving forward.”
Trevor McDonald, Ballymena , said: “Now is the time for Rangers fans to back the new manager and players 100 per cent and help us become a real force once again not just in Scottish football but in British football.”
Tommy Barnes, Perth , said: “What has happened to Rangers signing the defender Connor Goldson from Brighton? The trail seems to have gone cold on that one.
“Is it because of the £3million price tag placed him on by the Seagulls?
“Gerrard has to stamp his own authority on this Rangers team.
“He has to tell the Rangers board that they need to stump up the funds to allow him to bring in Goldson as well as the striker Dominic Solanke from Liverpool.
“That would be the ideal start for Gerrard.”
Lance Little, Erskine , said: “The Gerrard appointment is beginning to look like a panic buy more than ever.
“Gerrard is an untried manager who is trying to pass his UEFA Pro Licence by taking exams in France.
“How Brendan Rodgers and Scott Brown must be quaking in their shoes at this revelation.
“It is another false dawn for Rangers. I think Rangers will hit 10 in a row before Celtic…in managerial appointments at this rate!”
Joe Wilson, Spean Bridge , said: “Here we go again. It has been nothing but wall to wall coverage of you know who?
“I’m actually happy England are in the World Cup. It’ll make me even happier watching them getting gubbed.”
On to Scotland now and John Burns, Condorrat , said: “Scotland trekked all the way over to Peru and Mexico and played 180 minutes of football.
“We had four shots at goal and our head coach Alex McLeish mentioned the heat, altitude and the crowd but not the football at any stage.
“I know Scotland played experimental sides in both fixtures but they are just poor excuses from big Eck.
“It makes you wonder why Scotland actually bothered taking on the trip in the first place.
“It served no purpose and we have learned absolutely nothing.”
